 Queen’s Dance

Each year, The Brazos County Youth Livestock Show kicks-off with a dance and scholarship fundraiser. The Brazos County Youth Livestock Court is announced and the Queen is crowned during this event.  Tickets for the dance can be purchased from any Queen Candidate, Catalena Hatters or Cavender’s.  The queen will be crowned at 9:00 pm.  For more information, click here for Queen’s Dance Flyer.

AG-YOU-cate at BCYLS

This year the BCYLS FCS committee will bring back a workshop series, AG-YOU-cate, to help promote agriculture in our community. Our 4-H, FFA and FCCLA youth will be instrumental in presenting these activities. Workshops will be hands on where those who attend will do an arts and crafts project, take home a plant that they transplant, taste the food demonstrated, and do a hatching activity with various eggs. We will have the youth as the main spokespeople at the workshops. Tours of the barns will also be available. We would love for EVERYONE to come out and experience these learning opportunities.
